Alternative Berlin is an English speaking walking tour company operating in Berlin for almost 20 years.

We were founded by people from underground scenes including artists, activists, historians and creatives. Since then we have been showing visitors the raw and creative side of Berlin.

We do not do postcard tourism.

We explore street art, squats, counterculture, Cold War history, urban hedonism and the constant reinvention of the city.
